Seek Head Office Directory Boards
EXECUTIVE CHANNEL NETWORK
In August 2016 Executive Channel Network engaged CID to redesign the digital directory boards at Seek Head Office (541 St Kilda Rd Melbourne). The existing directory boards were very outdated, so our brief was to design 2 x digital directory boards with a more contemporary aesthetic that incorporated larger 32" LCD screens for greater visual impact.
After extensive concept generation and exploration of different materials and finishes, CID developed a unique design that featured the simple use of premium materials to completely transform their directory boards and create a memorable entry point for the head office of Australia's leading online jobs, career, employment and recruitment company.

Lift Call Detail
Each directory board needed to incorporate the existing lift call button assembly. This was mounted on a black textured feature panel which reduced finger print marks and the contrast of different finishes also helps to 'break up' the long directory board fascia. The use of SS trim pieces between the panels also creates a neat part-line detail which enhances the premium appearance of the product.
The lift call panel is also removable for easy access during assembly and maintenance.
The directory boards were cleverly designed to allow for easy installation and maintenance with no visible fasteners or fixings to create a 'seamless' appearance.
